Time / Light Project 23rd February - 12th March 2011
I am currently developing ways of using the ambient external light sources at The Library Artspace Gallery to represent alternative measurements of time, as embodied by the movement of light and shadow within the space. The project draws inspiration from the history of early pinhole photography with the long exposures they required, and primitive methods of measuring time such as sun-dials and tide sticks.
